Why does my printer mirror-image print a PDF doent?

I receive the doent from a particular source, print preview it where it appears correct and then print it. When it is printed the whole doent can only be read when standing in front of the mirror! Why? I have a hp psc 1215 all in one printer & have never had problems with Adobe before.
