Can my doctor stop prescribing me diazapam just like that ?

i have been taking 10mgs a day of diazepam for the last 3 months. my doctor said on the telephone he woudnt give me anymore. is he allowed to just stop giving them to me just like that. as i know i will be very ill. and if he does not give me any more where can i go for help ?when i become ill.? by the way i have not played with this drug .ie taken more than i should have. i think he was upset because of an appointment i had to cancel. any advise would be appreciated
