Medicaid Pregnant Women Question !!?

it took a couple months for them to send mine (colorado). and it took until my daughter was almost 3 months for them to send hers. my doctors office was able to look up my medicaid in the system using my ssn, name, and birthdate. i never once showed them my insurance card because they had the information in the computer after that. they never sent me an acceptance letter or anything, just the card. and medicade should take care of any related charges from when you were waiting on the card. ask your provider if they can acess your medicaid status from the computer like mine did. it should only take minutes for them to do!
