I finished my resume and I think it's a solid doent but certain people tell me I need more accomplishments.?
Here's the problem. Not everyone is a CEO - shakers of the company making huge contributions. I'm a finance professional in middle management and very good at what I do but I can't honestly say that my contributions "rocked the company" or had a significant contributions to the bottom line. I've made improvements with headcount reductions and meeting deadlines but that's probably the extent of it. There are people who perform "great at their job" but don't have the opportunities to expand into "superstars"? It's almost like you have to lie or seriously embellish your background. It really is a game. Thoughts anyone?
