What shoud i do about this guy?

I'm 17, My friend asked me if i would go on a blind date with her boyfriends friend, since hes never had a girlfriend, i said yes, went on the date and he was realy nice but i wasnt attracted to him so we agreed to be friends, since then hes text me every day, ive realy gotten to know him, ive hung round with him since and he bought me a crystal heart broach, then recently hes bought me a silver diamond key locket, hes always telling me how pretty i am and how much he wants to be with me, hes told his parents about me and everything but then today we were chatting and he said to me a girl at college offered him her number, he was so suprized he didnt take it, what should he so, i was absolutly shocked and now confused, any ideas why he did this? xx
