Why do people hate israel ?

You are wrong. Gaza was abiding by a ceasefire but Israel was not keeping to their end of the bargain, because they continued to subject Gaza to a medieval siege in which food, medicine, fuel, spare parts, fertilizer and such were not allowed in. But even though Gaza is nearly 50% children, and are some of the most malnourished in the world, you think that's OK. Then when they launch some feeble rockets in protest, (which killed about as many people as the Israeli pirate boarders killed when they boarded a Turkish ship in international waters) you think it is OK for Israel to bomb them to smithereens even though collective punishment is a war crime. Israel behaves exactly like Nazi Germany but you make excuses for them. Probably because Muslims and Arabs are not considered people to you. In making people ignore a minority group's humanity I think Israel is becoming more successful than Hitler.
