Is the All-Star voting a Joke these days?

It's a popularity contest and nothing more... Thats the problem, teams with the most fans get the most players on the team, the Yankees and Red Sox have a combined 10 players on the AL team and they are in 2nd and 3rd respectively. Ramirez, Ortiz, Jeter, Varitek, Ichiro, Griffey, Fukodome, and Pedroia (belongs but not starting)? They are all questionable. Ian Kinslers numbers DWARF Pedroia's, Milton Bradley had to be added because of Ortiz's injury? I think that the we really need to look at this system. Why the hell can each person vote 25 times? What good does that do? Ballot stuffing is no way to do things.
