Infected surfer...?

I got cut on the foot two weeks ago with the fins of my board, got stitches and all in one cut, the other cut didn't get stitches. The stitches are off on the big cut and there is a very very minimal infection in it. (does not even hurt when I pour alcohol on it) the other one however... does hurt when I pour alcohol on it. My question is... if I clean them really good, then wear a waterproof patch on them and then wear my wetsuit booties over them... do you guys think it will be safe for me to get into the ocean to surf tomorrow? I'll clean it again the second I leave the ocean. (I'll probably be in the water for around two hours)
