Did Democrats spend to much time on health care and doom comprehensive immigration reform?

First chance they had they dived on health care reform like nothing else mattered.Spend all year diligently working toward page.That's another story,though.I hear occasional grumbling that goes like this: They spent all the political capital they {democrats} had on health care or I probably should say insurance reform- now there is no wham left to get a snowball effect going on immigration reform,Nobody sees any page or even any attempt to seriously approach it this year.So I think it will NEVER be back.Health care reform stole the only timeline in history for a long, long time to be possible for blanket amnesty.So to me ,it seems it is really too late, all over for amnesty,the majority is not for it
