Boyfriend can't stay hard and doesn't come?

my boyfriend and i started having last week, the first time we had he got hard and couldn't come which i thought was weird so he told me that he had masturbated twice earlier in the day.. then we went to have a couple days ago and he got hard then went soft a minute into it. He said it's never happened with anyone else and he even went to his mom to ask her about it because hes concerned. Do you think maybe he watches 2 much and can't get off to normal ?
