Are Republicans mad at Palin for backtracking from her birther comments? Does this mean she's not regular folk?

Even conservatives who do not dwell on the birther issue think that common sense would lean toward providing the filed birth certificate rather than pay hundreds of thousands in legal fees to avoid it. That's just how regular folk think.
